WEDNESDAY - swim for 1/2 price when you bring in a canned good or non parishable food item for the food pantry.

SWIM LESSONS
Progressive swimming lessons for children to learn according to their ability; ages 3 and up and adults of all ages; 30 minute classes Monday thru Friday: $35 (week) or $50 (2 weeks).

PRIVATE POOL PARTY RENTALS
Rental Fee is $80 per hour for in-district with a minimum of 2 hours; $90 per hour for out-of-district with a minimum of 2 hours; $15.00 per hour additional fee if over 100 in attendance. 50% deposit and signed contract required at booking with the balance due one week prior to party. MANNER'S PARK FACILITIES

CHAUTAUQUA AUDITORIUM
In the late 1800's a historical movement was afoot across the country. This movement was the largest and most significant venture in education the world has ever seen. A series of programs for a two week period of time in music, lectures, study, and oratory was designed to appeal to all ages. This movement became known as the Chautauqua celebration. Almost in the center of the park still stands the Chautauqua auditorium. This building was purchased from the Bloomington, IL Chautauqua Society in 1916, moved to its present location and erected. The Chautauqua Auditorium is presently listed as a historic place by the State of Illinois and the United States Department of the Interior National Park Service.

JAYNE'S PARK

Jaynes Park is still somewhat of a diamond in the rough. Jaynes Park is an 11.4 acre area of open space that has been used primarily for picnicing. It is located on the west side of Taylorville. The park has three baseball fields, basketball, tennis courts and playground equipment. Red Bland Little League tee ball and machine pitch baseball takes place at Jaynes Park. Picnic tables and restrooms are also available.

DON BRAGG SPORTS COMPLEX
Located at 1700 West Vandeveer Street, this complex has two adult softball fields (one lighted), youth football/soccer area, sand volleyball courts, a popular paved walking trail and covered pavilion with concession/ restroom facility are included in this 10 acre site.
