The Taylorville Park District will be publishing a Request for Proposal for design-build on Sept 18th, 2025. This request for proposal is generated to select a design-build engineering and construction services for the replacement of Manners Park Pool.

Manners Park Pool. Applicants, at a minimum , must be capable of providing certain design/build services which comply with all applicable local, State and Federal regulations governing construction of said pools and splash pads, including all associated agencies having jurisdiction.

Pool Fees
Children 4 & under $1.00
Ages 5 & up $5.00
(8 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult)
Pool Passes
Individual Pass: $100.00
Family Pass: $275.00
Reduced/free pool pass applications are available for low income families at the Manner’s Park Office
Special Pool Days
MONDAY – Mom swims for $2.00 with paid child
TUESDAY – Grandmother or Grandfather swims for $2.00 with paid child
WEDNESDAY – Swim for 1/2 price when you bring in a canned good or non perishable food item for the food pantry.
THURSDAY – Veterans swim $2.00 (must show ID)
FRIDAY – Dad swims $2.00 with paid child
Bring in a final report card and get in free one day for each A. Only good for the month of June and all previous report card/grades are not eligible.
Swim Lessons
Progressive swimming lessons for children to learn according to their ability; ages 3 and up and adults of all ages; 30 minute classes Monday thru Friday:
$35 (week) or $50 (2 weeks)

Zumba Classes
Starting June 1, 2023 Tuesday and Thursday every week 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Sign up and pay when you attend the class.
Private Pool Rentals
Rental Fee is $85 per hour for in-district with a minimum of 2 hours; $95 per hour for out-of-district with a minimum of 2 hours; $15.00 per hour additional fee if over 100 in attendance.
50% deposit and signed contract required at booking with the balance due one week prior to party. Contact the park office at: 824-5878 or 824-3110.
Jr. Lifeguard Training
For kids 9 to 15 years old. Participants will go through real lifeguard training. From CPR, first aid, how to get someone out of the water safely and everything in between. Price includes a t-shirt.
